Hello Folks! In this week’s #BlabWithSandy, we have actress Sneha Ullal with us. After making her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Lucky: No Time for Love, Sneha expanded her horizon by entering Tollywood with the film Ullasamga Utsahamga. Let’s wait no further and dive into the Blab I had with her:
Sandy: You made a famous debut with Salman Khan in ‘Lucky: No Time for Love’. Could you describe your experience working with Salman Khan and the film?
Sneha: I was pretty young when I played Lucky Negi opposite Salman Khan. The experience was great and I enjoyed working with him. The film gave me a big scope to perform and I beleive I did my best at that time. I am forever grateful to have gotten the chance to debut with ‘Lucky’.
Sandy: I personally loved your film Aryan: Unbreakable with Sohail Khan. It was director Abhishek Kapoor’s first film. It did garner good pre-release buzz but somehow the audience couldn’t imbibe the flavor of its classiness and to-the-point serious approach. Do you think the film was ahead of its time?
Sneha: Well, you can never say what works and what does not! I don’t think it was ahead of time, but I do feel that the film needed much more from the entire cast and crew. However, its an always stands as an experience.
Sandy: Your Tollywood innings was fruitful with films like Ullasamga Utsahanga, Nenu Meeku Telusa, Current, Simha, Ala Modalaindi and others. How different is your Tollywood working experience from the Bollywood industry?
Sneha: Tollywood has been an amazing learning ground for me. I started too early in Bollywood. Tollywood became that school for me which helped me learn many things. I enjoy every bit of it!

- If you were to have a book on your life, what would you name it? Now this is a sexy question. Hmmm, it would be “Keeping it real”
Sandy: I have noticed that you have been and are a strong supporter of Veganism and Animal Welfare. Could you share some insights on this front?
Sneha: Being a Vegan is all about living with compassion. Not many even know what Veganism is. A vegan diet consists of no animal products like meat, milk products like ghee, butter paneer, etc. It’s a strict plan-based diet.
There was a time where cows were sweetly milked with no death or torture to the animal. But, in today’s times, cows are injected and artificially inseminated to produce more milk for mass demand.
Being a Vegan means saying no to animal slavery as well. Basically, in short, “I don’t need animals harmed to live my life”. I don’t use leather as well.
Sandy: What’s next in the pipeline for you?
Sneha: I have begun something very interesting career wise which all will know of soon. And, I am the happiest to share it with you soon.
Sandy: Anything that you would like to convey to the readers?
Sneha: Just do good work and believe in Karma, as I call Karma as my god. Be good to yourself and always keep it real.
Sandy: A few words about The Hyderabad Local
Sneha: You have been very sweet to me and patient enough to get my interview. I am very touched for the respect you have shown to me. Without respect I go nowhere. You have my support always! 🙂
Editor’s note: It was wonderful blabbing with Sneha Ullal and getting to know a little more about her. Wishing the sensible beauty that she is, a blockbuster cinematic journey ahead! 🙂
