Actor Barkha Singh ventures into entrepreneurship with women’s footwear brand Nuvah. Taking on the role of Chief Creative Officer, Barkha will work closely with the brand’s founder and CEO, Avni Jain, to shape its creative vision across product design, brand communication, visual storytelling and cultural expression.
Known for her work in projects such as *_Masaba Masaba, Criminal Justice, Engineering Girls_* and *_Please Find Attached_* , she has also established a strong presence in the digital space with her interest in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. She hopes to bring her instinct and understanding of global fashion movements and what works best for the Indian consumer market to Nuvah. Her association with the brand marks a step towards turning her long-standing love for footwear into a business venture, allowing her to be more involved in the process of building a brand. She will contribute to shaping the brand’s identity and product journey alongside the founder’s product-first vision.
Founded in 2026, Nuvah is an online-first women’s footwear brand that aims to bring style and comfort together. Its approach blends thoughtful design with engineering-led innovation, featuring its proprietary Steady-Form footbed and patent-pending Style-Switch technology, which allows interchangeable heels to create multiple looks from a single pair. This collaboration will bring Barkha’s perspective on fashion and contemporary women’s lifestyles to the forefront.
