Fresh off the massive success of Dhurandhar and its record-breaking sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time, Ranveer Singh has officially moved on to his next major cinematic project. Titled Pralay, the ambitious survival spectacle has begun principal photography today, with filming taking place on live locations in and around Mumbai.
The high-octane project is helmed by director Jai Mehta, widely recognized for co-directing the critically acclaimed series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story alongside Hansal Mehta, as well as directing the thriller Lootere. Joining Singh in a pivotal role is Lokah actress Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Pralay is jointly produced by Ananya Birla’s Birla Studios, True Story Films, and Maa Kasam Films.
